Serving tray and coasters

Hi Friends

Here I am with another post and creative project.

The all new pouring paints from Itsy Bitsy are a great medium to work with, they are just amazing and so smooth you just will want to work more and more with them. So here is my attempt with them.

As the festival of lights, colours and prosperity is approaching I wanted to do something for my house which matches with the theme and I can use it on Diwali.
Hence, I did a serving tray with some amazing relief work coasters. As the festival is about the good and the evil and finally the victory of the truth/good over the evil. The colours in the tray show both the good and the evil and how they are trying to overpower each other. Whereas, the coasters have much subtle or calm patterns like flowers, mandalas, roses, gold foil patterns etc. which show prosperity, growth, happiness and calmness. After all, Diwali is a combination of all, this is my take on the festival.
Do let me know what you think about it in the comments section below.

Initially I did this but then I felt that something was missing so I did some beautiful intricate lace design flowers to add to the beautiful pouring pattern.

And here are the images of the final product with the coasters.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed reading my post.

Shagun Envelopes

Hello Friends

I am super excited but a little scared as this is the first time i am entering a blog challenge and i am just exploring and trying to figure out as to how to link the supplies and how to post everything as per the guidelines. I hope all goes well.

Well I will not talk much and lets share my post for the day.
So here I am as the festive and wedding season has already started in India and with this season comes the "SHAGUN KA LIFAFA" I thought will create something keeping that in mind.

My first envelopes is a simple one and can be used for a wedding or a birthday or any festival.
Here I have used some colourful card-stock which were left from some of my previous projects and stuck them together on a plain card-stock. Then I have used mudra flower bunch stamp and stamped on the envelope with black ink and on the coloured card-stock with the embossing ink and arrenged it all together as per my plan.

The second one is for the festival of lights and glitter. As the festival is all about happiness and prosperity so I choose a golden color background. Then I took mudra crackers stamp and made some embellishments for my envelope and arranged it all. the best part about this one is that the fire cracker (the ladi) revolves around the circular path.
The third one is for a wedding in this I have again used the flower bunch stamp and coloured it with pencil colours and distressed the edges with archival ink.

The last but not the least is the holi where I creatively used mudra sibling love stamp for a holi theme and created the envelope.

Thank you for stopping by and having a look. I hope you like my creations as much as I do.
